  罗招庆,博士,博士生导师。国家“千人计划”特聘教授、教育部“长江学者”特聘教授。2001年获美国伊利诺依大学厄巴那-香槟分校博士学位。2001-2004年在美国塔夫茨大学医学院做博士后研究。2004年起就职于美国普渡大学,历任助理教授,副教授和教授。2017年-今,吉林大学第一医院教授。

  研究方向为病原生物学,以细菌致病机理和寄主免疫反应为重点,通过鉴定和阐明细菌毒力蛋白作用的生化和细胞生物学机制,以期获得干预感染的新策略。同时,由于长期与寄主免疫体系的共演化,毒力蛋白往往以独特方式干扰重要寄主的信号传导通路,对其功能的阐明能揭示正常生理条件下无法检测的信号通路。例如,我们最近揭示了一种全新的泛素化修饰机制,该泛素化过程不需要经典泛素修饰必需的E1和E2酶的参与,而是以NAD为能量源,通过ADP核糖基化激活泛素。该发现2016年发表于Nature,受到国际学术界广泛关注,被Science Signaling 杂志评为2016年细胞信号转导领域的十大突破之一,开创了一个全新的泛素化研究领域,对揭示泛素化修饰在细胞信号转导、疾病发生等方面的功能具有重要意义。近五年在Nature(2篇),PNAS(5篇),PLoS Pathogens (6篇), Cell Research等期刊发表论文近30篇,并受邀为Nature Reviews Microbiology,Cell Microbiology等撰写相关综述。现为PLoS Pathogens的副主编(Associate Editor) 及PLoS One 的学术编委(Academic Editor)。
